Telemetry
Telemetry is opt-in in versions with the reporting choice, including in singleplayer: the world or server owner chooses whether to share basic statistics or enable team tracking
An undecided world sends no statistics until its owner chooses. Earlier team opt-ins and telemetry opt-outs are carried over; older releases may enable basic statistics by default
Basic statistics help us see how many people are playing and how far they've progressed

If you own the world or server, you can turn basic statistics off with this command
/extranerftelemetry off
Team tracking
Want your team on the website? Team tracking is an optional alternative to basic statistics
Eligible teams may be listed publicly with their progression tier and players' Minecraft names, and every player who joins is told about it

Choose it in the reporting window or turn it on with this command
